As Team Leader, you will provide technical leadership, build strong client relationships and support performance and team growth within the group. This role will have you reporting to the Business Group Leader (BGL) of the Environmental Group. Specific responsibilities in this role will include:Project management of various projects including EIA, Compliance Audits and Inspections and Surveys etc. Management of team members on projects when required. Support with operational performance and growth of the Business Group Lead and support business development, strategic pursuits and marketing for the Business Group Promote and build relationships with existing and potential/key clients with the aim of increasing business by improving client relationships and strengthening repeat business; Direct the technical and production work of project teams, administering contractual aspects of the project, and acting as point of contact for major clients Work with project directors, project managers and project teams to improve job delivery skills within Business Group Direct pricing, scoping and winning strategies for new work Develop and mentor team members within the Business Group For success in this position, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Science Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in a consulting environment Qatar or GCC experience would be desirable Strong technical delivery, business development, proposal preparation and marketing skills Well-developed commercial acumen Ability to manage several jobs at once and determine priorities Strong leadership skills with ability to influence others and good negotiating skills Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop, mentor and lead professional and technical staff Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines A self-starter with sound judgment and decisiveness.
