At John Crane we are looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer who will work within the Regional Engineering team in Jubail, and will report to the Regional Sales & Aftermarket Manager. You primarily provide on-site (in the field) service to our external customers. When not on-site, you assist with day-to-day technical support to the region. This includes product selection and specification, troubleshooting, failure diagnosis and will involve working directly with internal and external suppliers and customers.Duties & Responsibilities
Field troubleshooting, including analysis of problems / recommendation & implementation of appropriate solutions, meeting with customers in plant or at customer’s site to resolve satisfactorilyDetailed failure analysis activities, including investigation / reporting / resolutionDetailed technical presentations to customers in order to support sales or drive root cause analysis exercisesManaging and report personal workload, forecast job lead-times to meet customer and departmental objectivesVisiting customer sites for technical measurement, seal installation and commissioningWorking in line with John Crane standards, procedures and policiesEnsuring quality & safety within functions/ tasks performed by himself/herself and staff reporting to him/herBeing responsible for exercising due diligence towards health & safety of self and others within the organizationEnsuring compliance with the applicable HSE instructions, requirements, laws and regulations received from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies.Diversity & Inclusion

University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.5+ years of professional experience in engineering and sales.Experience working in refinery rotating equipment/maintenanceEngineering knowledge in a proactive multinational and multicultural environment.Knowledge of CADA strong technical knowledge of John Crane product portfolio is preferredAbility to carry out failure analysis and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) mandatory – CAPA preferredVibration Cat 3 certification preferredCertified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) PreferredExcellent knowledge and use of measuring instrumentationFluent English, while speaking in Arabic is an advantageAdaptable, flexible and appreciative of an array of cultures and customs.Team player and willing to travel at short noticeExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.The ability to work under pressure and a methodical approach to work.About Smiths
