Senior Regional Facilities Managers (SFM) Note: Due to mandated Security Clearance Requirements only people of Australian Nationality can be considered for these roles. The portfolio comprises approximately 1,000 properties (both owned and leased) and includes Chanceries/Embassies and Residential properties. Reporting to the JLL EMEA Regional Operations Director (Germany based), the Senior regional Facilities Manager (SFM) will be based on the Riyadh DFAT site and will have the overall responsibility to manage the day-to-day activities for this and other assigned sites. You will be managing remote sites and will have responsibility for staff in Amman, and Islamabad as well as in Riyadh. You will be the on-site key point of contact for client staff and key stakeholders, including tenants. As the SFM you will have overall responsibility for managing comprehensive engineering and facilities management services, staff, contractors, equipment and supplies as required under the Contract. The position will require proactive management, engagement and communication with DFAT and stakeholders to ensure Facilities and Property Management services do not impact on operations, site visitations and events.  Strategic and operational responsibilities are extensive and include: Stakeholder management (Post (SAO and Post FM Team), DFAT, JLL and third parties); People Management (assigned JLL staff and on-site third-party contractors), This includes performance, moral, teamwork, training and development and, communication requirements; Risk Management, including incident and business continuity and, provision of 24/7 emergency response support and site attendance as and when required; Property inspections and monitoring of remote site activities; Asset Management Planning; Quality Assurance; Engineering protocol and audit; Procurement & Contractor Management; Maintenance and technical facilities operations; Minor works Project Management; Heritage listed building management; Budgeting and Financial Management; Health & Safety Management; and, Value add and innovation. Ideal Experience and Personal Characteristics Min. Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, building, business or other related field and/or 5-7 years’ experience in facilities, property management or related field; Experience or demonstrated capability to work in a complex environment along with the management of remote sites; Detailed understanding of technical aspects of property (may include Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS system, Access control systems); Knowledge of and experience in managing critical infrastructure, systems and environments; Client Focus & Relationship Management Capacity to interpret and proactively manage commercial contracts; Strong budget management and financial analysis skills; Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements; Strong customer service-oriented attitude; Ability to gain and retain a relevant Security Clearance; Ability to liaise with high level personnel; Ability to manage conflicting priorities; Ability to work well under pressure; Problem solving skills – capacity to deal with ambiguity and solve complex problems effectively; Strong communicator – good presentation skills and possesses strong verbal and written communication skills (English); Flexible – able to adapt to rapidly changing situations; Self-motivated, confident and energetic; This is a rare opportunity to join a large, enthusiastic and dynamic team in the provision of global property services to a highly recognisable and well-regarded Australian Government Department.  JLL is a financial and professional services firm operating in 80 countries and providing real estate services and investment management to clients seeking increased value by owning, occupying and investing in real estate.
