RESPONSIBILITIES: Statutory Financials & Management Reporting Supervision of Accounting operations & monthly closings activities Coordination for Annual Audits (IFRS & GAAP) Monitoring & upgrading of Accounting Standards & Processes Intercompany support and facilitation, proactive cross functional & cross divisional communication (Underneath each KRA / AOA, please list the routine and non-routine tasks that must be performed to achieve the areas identified above. Highlight the result that is expected from each task) Full responsibility of end-to-end accounting activities of the entities in scope Continuous monitoring of GL movements, flag any issue of inconsistency, duplication & wrong postings etc. Reviewing and finalizing Monthly Closing Activities before final upload of accounting balances in Groups System. REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability, expertise, and demonstrable working experience of closing the month-end financial reporting cycle. Must have the professional certifications (CMA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CPA or equivalent preferred) with minimum 5 years experience in financial management, monthly closing, annual audits and finalization of financial statements. Must have taxation knowledge and experience in finalizing annual tax returns.
