This includes supervising housekeeping staff, managing guest requests and complaints, and ensuring that all guest rooms are clean and well-maintained.Key Responsibilities:Supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and monitoring performance.Ensure that all guest rooms are clean and well-maintained, and that supplies are stocked and replenished as needed.Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints, resolving any issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, ordering additional supplies as needed.Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure that they meet established standards of cleanliness and maintenance.Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure that guest needs are met and that operations run smoothly.Use hotel management software and systems to manage guest reservations, room assignments, and maintenance requests.Maintain accurate records and reports related to room operations and housekeeping staff performance.Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including OSHA and local health department requirements.Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times, representing the hotel in a positive manner.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.2+ years of experience in hotel housekeeping or room operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of housekeeping staff.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.Proficiency in hotel management software and systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly.Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to hotel operations.Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
