Scope of Work : As a Reservations Host, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.In this role, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of all reservations tasks to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. I will assist to ensure that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced. I will perform the following tasks relevant for this role: •Process new reservations, process advance deposits, answer reservations inbox emails within 24 hours as per brand standards, process reports (No Shows, ORS Comments, Commission, etc.) and other reservation related duties as assigned.•Assist in all allocation of rooms.•Check and handle for special requests and hard blocking rooms as needed. •Contact guests or travel agents to clarify any discrepancies in preferences or requests before guests’ arrival.•Assist in the management of the guest history and profile system.•Assist the Reservations Manager to achieve the maximum possible occupancy and average room rate to meet forecasted and budgeted figures. •Resolve feedback from clients regarding reservations and take immediate remedy action. •Be completely familiar with all the resort inventory including special advantages, amenities and special features of each room as well as all guest and public facilities.•Upsell all resort, spa, LIFE and restaurant facilities.•Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.•Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments. Qualification : To execute the position of Reservations Host, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in the same or similar role in luxury hotels. I have formal certification in hospitality or tourism. I have a minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality or tourism in a similar role. I am fluent in written and spoken English language. I am able to live in a remote location for extended periods of time and travel on single status.
