As a PR Senior Specialist, you will work with key strategic partners, internal audiences, and other third parties to drive joint PR activities to build credibility.You are responsible for all the aspects of PR & Communications, which focuses primarily on the areas of media relations, internet/multimedia, publications, and social media. What will you do – Main responsibilities:Serve as the Chief Editor of the website of Aspire Academy. Utilize the website and other social media initiatives to create additional multimedia content. Write and edit press releases. Edit and oversee publications including the magazine of Aspire Academy. Manage all media operations and organize and moderate press conferences. Be able to demonstrate experience in gaining credibility and advising senior management. Support local and international events hosted by Aspire Academy. Be able to be a strong team player and a credible advocate for the extended corporate communications team Report directly to the Marketing Manager, this position will supervise the staff in Communications and New Media, as well as part-time staff at events. Position requires working nights and weekends as needed. Assume any other responsibilities as directed by the direct supervisor. Discuss tasks relevant to the department with the PR Director including briefings, budgets, and performance. Build and maintain strong direct relationships with a key press, analysts & influencers and with senior executives, product, and marketing groups. Qualifications and requirements:5-7 years of related experience of which a minimum of 2-3 years should be in a similar position/responsibility in a related industry Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, master’s degree is preferred Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken) and Arabic (preferred) are essential and should have an excellent aptitude for presentation and public speaking.
