Lead of Shutdown Planning – COMPRESSION PROJECT Our client, a major LNG operator in Qatar, requires a Lead of Shutdown Planning for an Onshore Compression project on a 3-year renewal contract basis. Reporting Reports to the clients Compression Project Shared Services Head of Brownfield Construction Main Accountabilities Position provides brownfield execution – Shutdown planning leadership and expertise to the Shared Services Execution Organization which is guided by the following principles: “One Team” project organization accountable and responsible for effective and efficient delivery of the various scopes in department’s Compression development Focal point to develop the overall Compression Project Shutdown Management planning process – representing Compression Project in the Upstream Gas Planning process While position may report to the Compression Project Shared Services Head of Brownfield Construction, position is accountable and responsible to provide expertise and supplemental support for executing EPC project teams Support various stakeholders (EPC teams, Shared Services) to meet their respective objectives by discharging Shutdown planning responsibilities and duties efficiently and effectively – multiple accountabilities and responsibilities Ensure there is quality, effectiveness and consistency in the planning processes, systems, procedures, and work products Must be able to manage the respective priorities, drivers and challenges of the stakeholders while maintaining focus on their respective objectives Manage multiple internal and external interfaces across client’s and Shareholder organizations and EPC Contractors – require effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and collaboration Suitable candidates will require an Engineering Degree or relevant on the job experience with Extensive Project Planning experience in a leadership and supervisory role – especially in Shutdown planning. Knowledge and/or Experience More than 15+ years of experience with at least 10 years demonstrated Project Planning experience including construction, installation, and engineering in major capital projects – especially in Brownfield scopes Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in the Offshore projects Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards On offer is a competitive daily rate with monthly living and transport allowances on a 12 x 2 weeks rotation schedule with flights provided. Married status option also available.
