Put your inspection expertise to work on complex projects. Parsons is now hiring an Electrical Inspector for our rapidly expanding team. Responsibilities: Monitors and/or evaluates electrical tests such as ground-fault, ground resistance, insulation resistance, polarity, continuity, capacity, load and other electrical field tests as required Field checks installation and location of electrical equipment, electrical duct, conduit, cable, panels and other components of the electrical system being installed Maintain daily reports documenting work performed by the contractor Monitoring all Electrical engineering aspects of the project to ensure compliance with approved and proper standards Liaising with the Senior Electrical Engineer and other Engineers and Managers to provide support and guidance as required Monitor the review of the contractor’s documents/shop drawings to flag and rectify any issues which may affect the stability or function of any Electrical components or systems Monitor safety aspects when dealing with Electrical installations Provide reports on the progress of the Electrical aspects of the project Provide inspection of electrical equipment installations or modifications, witnesses testing and energization field activities Qualifications & Experience: Associate's or equivalent degree in a technical discipline or construction related field. 5+ years of related experience on housing construction projects. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment. Saudi Nationals only.
