We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Supply Chain to oversee our supply chain and procurement operations in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, with a preference for the EV automotive industry, and a proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in supply chain performance. The Role Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain and procurement strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives. Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management. Manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on supply chain performance to senior management. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including customs regulations, trade compliance, and ethical sourcing practices. Develop and manage the supply chain budget and oversee financial performance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a preference for the automotive industry and EV automotive industry. Demonstrated success in developing and executing best-in-class supply chain and procurement teams and strategies in a performance driven-culture that resulted in measurable performance improvements, reduced best-in-market costs, detailed should-cost analysis, complex commercial negotiations, and driving sustainable commercial success. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making. Excellent communication and people skills, with the teams. to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience managing a team of supply chain and procurement professionals across multiple locations. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.
