Overall responsibility of this position is to analyze bid documents, renderings, specifications, floor plans, and other relevant documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for client quoting. Position requires evaluating data to determine cost effectiveness for our company and the client. We provide the best combination of compensation and culture. Check us out: To be successful in this role, the person in this position will need to be capable of performing the following duties: Apply effective communication skills, working with multiple teams, to understand requests and manage work output. Able to interpret documentation, such as bid documents, renderings, specifications, photos, sketches, and floor plans, to evaluate and prepare estimates. Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. Assist Sales by advising, specifying, and quoting custom product solutions. Work with engineering team members to determine and quote approved custom product specifications. Work with suppliers to determine and quote custom product specifications. Contribute to engineering team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Possessing a degree in mechanical engineering or related field of study and/or years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing or estimating role is a plus. Requirements:
