Key Relationships • Internal: GM, HAI & BNITC team members • External: Clients Duties and Responsibilities • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists, and hire full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers, and coordinate their schedules • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors • Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory • Meet contractual conditions of performance • Review the work progress on daily basis • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences • Analyse, manage and mitigate risks • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques • Attend coordination and progress meetings; make regular trips to sites during construction including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress site visits, punch walks, and construction closeout • Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, assuring working environment is maintained at acceptable levels, and tools and equipment are in good working condition • Maintain and update SOW and preconstruction documents, and monitor contract obligations with a goal of building relationships with reliable contractors and vendors • Ensure that the contractor submits the insurance policy • Manage contractors request for information (RFI), submittals and approvals • Coordinate on-site and off-site inspections • Construction contract administrator • Monitor contractor HSE Plan • Coordinate delivery and storage of owner supplies and materials • Coordinate with stakeholder to assist in sorting and closing the punch list during the handover of the project on time • Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions Skills • Ability to plan and see the big picture • Competent in conflict and crisis management • Leadership and human resources management skills • Excellent time and project management skills • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality Qualifications • BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field • Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Associate Constructor (AC), and Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) designations Experience • 3+ years experience in management of new construction and remodeling projects • Understanding of all facets of the construction process • Familiarity with construction management software packages Apply Now Company Industry Education Training Teaching Department / Functional Area Projects Keywords Construction Manager Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
