We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to work within our Kitchen team. The Chef de Partie will supervise and oversee the preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner food items per guest orders or as assigned by kitchen management in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run the day-to-day operation of the station.
  • Assisting in supporting the restaurant chef in creating and preparing menus items and specials.
  • Checking and completing mise en place and set-up the station.
  • Completing daily requisitions utilizing available systems.
  • Communicating with the Sous Chefs regarding menu items, situations or shortages.
  • Working closely with standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.
  • Ensuring a clean, neat and organized work area.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and reporting any accident immediately.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    • 5 – 8 years previous experience in multiple culinary/F&B department.
    • Cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.
    • Ability to supervise, demonstrate, and expedite in various kitchen production areas.
    • A good understanding and practical knowledge of cooking European Cuisine would be beneficial.
    • Demonstrate a clear understanding of managing your own section
    • Working knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP
    • Food Hygiene qualification.
    • Oral and written fluency in English.
    • The ability to assist in creating and preparing menus items and specials.
    • The ability to work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
    • The ability to handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.
