You connect with production companies and other potential clients regionally and globally to raise awareness about the location overall, production facilities, incentives etc., ensuring a steady pipeline of productions. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIESBusiness developmentDefine, plan, implement and continuously review NEOM Media production business development strategy, in line with overall Sector strategy and OKRs, ultimately aiming to optimize capacity utilization at NEOM production sitesAssume responsibility to build a consistently filled pipeline and to effectively convert pipeline into clients, as per agreed annual targets Help consolidate the MENA ecosystem with focus on Saudi content production Attract major Hollywood & Bollywood projects to NEOMShowcase NEOM Media facilities & continuously update the materials to promote the sameBuild and continuously grow a global personal network of prospective clients and door-openers, demonstrating a highly proactive attitudePropose agency arrangements in different territories to ensure tight global coverageBe present and visible at key industry events, festivals etc., ideally generating new contacts and leads with every eventStay abreast of footloose greenlit projects, being aware of any opportunityContribute to creation of marketing content as needed, ensuring that materials are fit-for-missionDrive build-up of a CRM system and ensure data is always up-to-date and clearly understandable, enabling senior management to realistically assess pipeline value at any timeGather, structure and pass on any direct or indirect feedback from potential clients, but also on competing production hubs to the relevant NEOM Media teams (Strategy, Production, Studio Ops etc.), identifying potential misperceptions, weaknesses, opportunities, hurdles or full-on showstoppersSet and maintain highest CX standards BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge, skills and experience10+ years experience as business developer in media/ screen productionTrack record of successfully building and converting client pipelinesExisting network of production companies and other key media industry contactsStrong personal presence, charisma and social skills, ability to represent NEOM brand and value proposition powerfully and credibly on a global stageSelf-starting can-do attitude, problem-solver characterAbility to communicate business development approach, status, successes and challenges effectively and proactively to senior management as well as other internal stakeholdersExcellent communication skills in English Experience of working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is preferable Benefits of working as a Business Development Manager Production in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia:● Excellent benefits● Advancement opportunities● Advantageous package
