Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager.

The Ideal Candidate should have:
Experience: 15+ Years (High Rise Multimillion Projects, Preferably Hospital)
Education: Registered Graduate Engineer.
Locally Available in Bahrain will be Preferred.

The QA/QC Manager will have the following tasks at the Project:
1. Responsible for implementing site quality assurance and quality control system in compliance with standards, Specification and Drawings.
2. Ensure that all necessary inspections of work and material and end results meets the client/project requirements, standards, Specification and Drawings.
3. Coordinate with the Consultant to ensure inspections are carried expediently.
4. Monitor and manage the works quality to obtain high-quality results.
5. Review the quality performance of the works and report findings to the Construction Manager. If necessary.
6. Prepare and review the quality procedures and verifies that they comply with the project’s requirements and all applicable codes and standards.
7. Ensure all deviations from the Project Quality Plan and applicable Company specifications are recorded and documented.
8. Preparation of method statement and coordinate with the sub-contractors as and when required.
9. Advice and perform all the required tests as per the project specifications and authorities’ requirements.
10. Perform storage and preservation checks for project materials/equipment and ensure conformance with the approved procedure.
11. Monitor and ensure the effective implementation of PQP. Take prompt action to resolve quality issues.
12. Review the calibration status of all test equipment being utilized on the project and maintain a log.
13. Prepare and distribute all weekly and monthly quality reports.
14. Provide assistance and guidance to the construction team regarding the Project Quality Plan.
15. Maintain a positive relation with Consultant and Client and Subcontractor personnel.
16. Maintain accurate records of completed activities, inspection reports, surveillance reports, etc.
17. Participate and attend all required consultant, client and internal meetings
18. Ensure that all on-site audits of the project are conducted in accordance with the project Audit Schedule.
