We are looking for an experienced Kerala chef who is passionate about preparing and cooking delicious Kerala-style meals. The ideal candidate will be able to create flavorful dishes using fresh, regional ingredients and traditional recipes.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare traditional Kerala dishes according to recipes
• Ensure high quality and consistent presentation of dishes
• Monitor food stock and place orders when necessary
• Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
• Adhere to all food safety regulations
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnishing of dishes
• Train kitchen staff in preparation techniques, cooking, and handling of food
• Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Kerala chef or other cooking position
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of Team
