The Head Baker is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery, including baking, creating recipes, and managing staff. The Head Baker will be expected to create a wide variety of baked goods such as breads, cakes, cookies and pastries from scratch in a timely manner. The Head Baker must be able to work independently, create new recipes and maintain high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all bakery operations
• Create traditional and modern bakery recipes from scratch
• Supervise and train bakery staff
• Ensure all safety standards are met
• Monitor quality of products produced
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Manage inventory of supplies
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a head baker or similar role
• Knowledge of baking ingredients and techniques
• Ability to develop new recipes
• Excellent time management skills
